Home Watching and Cleaning

Part time or seasonal residents are a large part of Florida's population as retirees love to come in the colder months to enjoy the beautiful weather here in the sunshine state.

What are the part time residents supposed to do to make sure their homes are taken care of while they are gone during the summer months?

With my services I will come in whether it's once or twice a week, the decision is up to the customer.

I will make sure the home stays dusted top to bottom, because dust can start getting thick, and cobwebs start forming.

Clean the toilet because the water sitting in the bowl can form an unpleasant ring which if left for a long time can make it hard to scrub.

Running the faucets to keep the plumbing in check.

Check for bugs such as ants that somehow make their way in.

Check to make sure the air conditioning is running, because if the air conditioning goes out in the summer months in Florida things may start getting mildewy.

Check the pool especially if it is not screened in, as leaves, critters and other debris can settle and stain the pool if left to long. We do not do water samples or add chemicals.

Check the yard for possible dead spots, as the customer may need to hire a sprinkler repair person to fix them.

If there are other special requests from the customer, we can work together and make a plan for their needs.
